Though designers are showing up with their ss18 collections, winter is not over yet. Hyderabad has never been so chilly that we froze to death. But yeah we often got chances to show off our winter jackets and favorite hoodies. There’s nothing which I don’t like about winters. Allow me and I can write pages about winters but let’s save up that conversation for some another time.
I love wrapping myself up in warm clothes. I find reasons to layer up. So, I came up with 5 winter looks which are ideal for late winters and also not so chilly places like Hyderabad.
LOOK 1
Oversized sweaters are love. They can be paired in multiple ways. I picked this orange sweater for the first look and styled it in two ways.
Firstly, I wore it over a checkered shirt making it as casual as possible. I teamed it up with blue torn jeans and white sneakers with embroidery patches to jazz up the whole outfit. I paired it with minimal jewelry like a watch and few rings.Just to make it more winter-ish I added a beanie to the look. I loved the way how it turned out to be effortlessly chic.
I was loving the color as it was screaming fall and moreover, I never bought anything orange before. As I was totally crushing on it, I planned on pairing it differently this time.
I wore it like I usually would, with black denim. A belt was mandatory as I wanted to tuck that sweatshirt with it. As I can’t carry a look without shoes, a pair of high ankle converse did the job well. I have been loving faux fur off lately, so I picked this jacket with faux fur detailing at the collar. if In case, you have an extra chilly evening, it just warms up your outfit a little more.
LOOK2
A shirt with a sweatshirt is that old school winter combinations. Sometimes it’s okay to get a lil old school. Adding a colorful sweatshirt instead of a rugged one helped me transform my look into a complete trendy one. Teaming this up with distressed denim did nothing but helped me cut down the oh so classy look. Sneakers are too mainstream when comes to winter looks. A pair of black heels made my outfit look smart.
LOOK 3
Why ditch your dungarees just because it’s winter? Instead, let’s just team them up with cute sweatshirts we have lying in our closet. So, I just love denim dungarees. Denim compliment best with sweatshirts and winters for me are all about oversizing my outfits. I picked this striped sweater which I bought from max to pair up with my basic dungaree.
Berets are quite trending now. So, I ditched my beanie and picked a beret instead. I finished the look by adding an embroidered bag back ( did you notice that cute pom- pom tag? ) And a pair of converse.
LOOK 4
Which fall-winter lookbook is complete without a denim jacket? Black and black with a jacket on top is my favorite outfit of all time. It’s been quite trending this season. So I wore a black top and teamed it with black denim.
It made my blue denim jacket stand out. I picked a plain nondistressed jacket as I didn’t want this to be more of a baddie look. As there was a lot of black drama going on, I picked nudes for the accessories. I added a brown leather bag and a pair of nude pumps to finish the look.
LOOK5
My fifth look was kind of an unexpected one. I had a day out planned with my friends and found this navy blue oversized sweater with silver shimmer detailing over. Black leggings over this sweater felt like a match made in heaven.
Pairing it up with silver metallic Stilletoes and a metallic silver sling made my outfit look celestial. I didn’t need jewelry because I wanted it to be as simple as possible and hey! let’s be honest, there was already a lot of shining going on.
Anyways, I believe that unexpected things turn out to be great most of the time and I can gladly say this outfit supports my point.
